Mixtape #5: Girls

Posts are (unintentionally) slightly repetitive and music heavy at the moment - I've just moved to London into a new house and am in a job-hunt frenzy, which has taken over my life slightly. I feel really busy at the moment but hopefully soon I will be more settled and focused.

I never really realised it before but my iTunes has always been fairly male-heavy, but recently I've been listening to a lot more female singers and totally loving them... So here are some of my favourite female voices, in a slightly more upbeat playlist than the last one. Perfect for the change in weather we've been having - I had forgotten how much of a difference blue skies and sunshine make to my mood.

'Anything Can Happen' has become my go to song for getting me out of bed, motivating me, and walking to job interviews. Of course, nothing will ever beat 'Eye of the Tiger' in terms of motivation but this is my girly equivalent at the moment! Listen on 8tracks.
